International Drug Enforcement Conference XXX 2013

An international 3-day conference for 500 delegates from different countries was held on June 5-7, 2013. The conference included business and entertainment programs.

The purpose of the International Conference was to discuss issues of regional and global trends in illicit drug trafficking, and also unite the national police and judicial authorities for joint international operations.

4 iconic objects in Moscow were chosen as venues for this significant event.

The following venues were considered: the Moscow Kremlin, the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, the Museum-Reserve "Tsaritsyno", the International Trade Centre (ITC). 15 regions of Russia were presented at the Fair of the Masters in "Tsaritsyno" demonstrating cultural and craft heritage of the Russian Federation.

An important highlight of the event was the speech of V.V. Putin, president of the Russian Federation, and V.P. Ivanov, Russian Federal Drug Control Service Director. Their performance was accompanied by a live television broadcast of leading TV channels.

A governmental event of an international level has improved the image of Russia.

An increasingly larger role that our country plays in international efforts in the field of antidrug campaigns was demonstrated.

This event received massive coverage in the Russian and foreign press. It had more than 100 publications in central and specialized printed media, 24 videos and 10 radio references.
